The Cranbury Township Fraternal Order of Police currently is staffed by seventeen men and women who together as a whole work around the clock to ensure the safety of the residents of Cranbury Township, as well as making their presence known to deter crime. All of the Police Officers are fully trained, and certified by the New Jersey State Police Training Commission pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:17B-69-1. While on duty, the officers routinely respond to calls for service, citizen complaints, and traffic complaints in order to better the town on a daily basis. In addition, many of the officers routinely partake in continuing education courses and further their knowledge as police officers by taking courses in specialized areas of study such as Crime Scene Processing, Crash Investigation and Reconstruction, Drug Recognition Expert courses, as well as Leadership Training. As of 2018, the F.O.P. active membership consists of the following Police Officers:
