2019 POLICE UNITY TOUR MEMBER PROFILE


Lieutenant Michael Owens is a 20 year veteran of the Cranbury Township Police Department and currently serves as the Chaplin of F.O.P. Lodge 68. This is his first year with the Police Unity Tour and he will be participating as a Rider. He is currently assigned as the Operations Commander, where he oversees the four (4) patrol squads and Detective Bureau. He is a certified L.E.A.D. instructor and former Dare Officer. He previously has served with the Seaside Heights and Mantaloking Police Departments. 


Sergeant Doug Mayer is a 12 year member of the Cranbury Township Police Department. He currently serves as Vice President of F.O.P. Lodge 68 where he maintains and operates the union website and facebook page. This will be his second year participating in the Police Unity Tour as a Support Staff member. He is a certified Drug Recognition Expert and Accident Reconstructionist. He currently maintains the departments complaince in the LESO 1033 program and serves as one of the departments traffic supervisors. He is currently assigned to the Bravo Squad night shift. He is a former Class II Officer with the Spring Lake Heights Police Department, Sea Girt Police Department, and Point Pleasant Beach Police Department.  


Officer Morley is a 17 year law enforcement veteran with 16 years dedicated to the Cranbury Township Police Department. He is a member of F.O.P. Lodge 68 where he previously has served as Recording Secretary. Officer Morley will be joining the Police Unity Tour for the first time in 2019 and will be participating as a Support Staff member. He is a certified Accident Reconstructionist and Bike Officer. He is currently assigned to the Charlie Squad day shift and has previously served as an officer with the Borough of High Bridge Police Department. 

Officer Rob Giaccone is a 16 year member of the Cranbury Township Police Department and F.O.P. Lodge 68. He is returning as one of the founding members of Team Cranbury and was selected as the teams Captain.  This will be his second year participating as a Rider in the Police Unity Tour.  He is a certified bike officer and member of the departments bike unit. He is currently assigned to the Bravo Squad night shift. Officer Giaccone is a former Class II Officer with the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department.
